Paul L. Bloom (1939-2009)
As Department of Energy Special Counsel (1978-81), Paul Bloom obtained record penalties against major oil companies for regulatory violations. He was an authority on water, natural resource and Indian law. He died Friday, October 9, 2009 and is survived by his wife Marjorie and children, Adam, Ester (Ben Galynker), and Judah. Services were held at Ohr Kodesh Congregation, Monday October 12, 2009.
